Consultation fees apply from 1 January 2026.

I’ve kept fees as steady as possible over recent years despite rising clinic costs. This update allows me to continue offering unhurried, thoughtful care.


Acupuncture consultations

Initial Acupuncture Consultation (60 minutes)

$150

This first appointment includes a full health history, Chinese medicine diagnosis, your first treatment, and a clear treatment plan going forward.

Follow-Up Acupuncture Consultation (45–50 minutes)

$115

Follow-up sessions include reassessment, acupuncture treatment, and adjustments based on how your body is responding. These appointments often run closer to 50 minutes to allow proper review and care.


Children’s acupuncture

Children’s Acupuncture – Initial

$110

Gentle, age-appropriate assessment and treatment for children.

Children’s Acupuncture – Follow-Up

$80

Shorter review sessions tailored to the child’s needs.


Chinese herbal medicine consultations

Initial Herbal Consultation

$120

This appointment focuses on detailed pattern differentiation, safe prescribing, and a clear herbal plan. It may be booked on its own or alongside acupuncture when appropriate.

Herbal Follow-Up Consultation

$75

Ongoing review, refinement of your formula, and clinical decision-making based on changes in symptoms.

Telehealth Herbal Follow-Up

$75

Phone or video consultations for existing herbal patients. Clinical responsibility and review remain the same as in-person care.

Herbal Refill / Quick Review

$25

For clearly defined, time-limited refills where a full consultation is not required.


Herbal medicine costs

Herbal medicines are charged separately from consultation fees.

  • Typical cost: from $40 per week, depending on the formula and dose

If I recommend herbs, I’ll explain the reasoning, expected outcomes, and costs before you decide.


Private health rebates

Many private health funds offer rebates for acupuncture under extras cover.

  • Rebates depend on your fund, level of cover, and annual limits
  • I provide itemised receipts so you can claim if your policy allows

Please check directly with your insurer to confirm your eligibility.


Payment

Card payments are accepted at the clinic. If you need specific details on your receipt for health fund claiming, just let me know.
